Mike Morone
Prior to joining Worldleaders in 2006, Mike worked as a secondary teacher with the Rochester City School District for ten years. Overall, he has been in education for 20 years. While there, he founded the Home Computer Program, a nationally-recognized program that gave recycled computers to over 2,000 urban students. He has helped numerous high school students graduate, gain admission into college, and start their careers. He earned the WROC-TV’s Teacher of the Month award in June 2001. He also taught for Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES, Monroe #1 BOCES, Monroe Community College,St. John Fisher College, and other organizations.
Mike has degrees from Binghamton University, Nazareth College, and the University of Rochester.
